Since long I had acquired the sweet pea cutters but somehow making them just kept postponing..
Surprisingly, they were very quick to make as there was no drying time and finished the whole stem in just about an hour.
I remember having sweet peas in my garden in Botswana and the wide variety of colours that the blooms would show up was fascinating..I am very fond of gardening too but not always successful with it.. :( It was really exciting watching the blooms in pastel shades and ofcourse the very attractive soft green long tendrils and the pods which grow along with the flower...
Though sweet peas can also be made with the petal nozzle with icing but somehow I feel the beauty of this flower comes with sugarpaste where one can show the delicate petals, pods and tendrils....
