Sweet Pea Cake





Yeah, I have changed my blog name. It is Swati's Sugarcraft now. A new blog for Sugarcraft India is under construction.

I made this cake for a small gathering for an AFMC Day Celebration party. A butter sponge cake sandwiched with plum jam and covered with marzipan and then with fondant. It is decorated with sugarcrafted sweet pea flowers, lily of the valley and some ivy leaves.
A little lace work is done on the edges.

A lot of my blogger friends showed their love by sharing some surprises. I am really humbled by their sweet gesture.

    I so love ivies and lilies..I remember how I made my florist go crazy with me because I wanted only these for my bridal bouquet, for the car, church etc...she just couldn't find enough and had to order in from elsewhere...

    I love the lace work that you have done..so very delicate...and I see my name too....thanks so much!!
