PEONY ...AN EXOTIC SUGAR FLOWER FOR CAKES...

I always had a fascination for this flower because of its majestic looks.

Peonies originate in China where they have been in cultivation for over 1000 years. The color selection is vast and ranges from white, cream, yellow and pink, to red, peach, magenta and burgundy.
Peonies are extremely elegant, eye-catching flowers to use on a wedding cake and are both simple to make and yet delicate in appearance.

This sugar flower has been attached to a drift wood just for photography purpose. Besides the photography, one can display them as a centre piece on the dining table so don't restrict yourself to having them only on cakes.

I have decided to attend your workshop the next time it is in Delhi. I'll take off from work if I need to.

Where do you get cake decoratives in Delhi? Sprinkles, confetti, silver balls, etc?

Happy Diwali

You have given importance to the minute details so nicely.
