Lambeth Style - 2 Tier Wedding Cake

Hi Everyone.. I am back and am here to share with you a wonderful experience and accomplishment.

Sugarcraft India got commissioned for 3 wedding cakes for the Unbridalled event hosted by Swarovski at the Taj Palace in New Delhi on 16th September 2008.

It was a memorable experience with immense learning..

Here you will see one of them..am awaiting for better pics for the other two and will put them up soon.

A 2 tier wedding cake with Joseph Lambeth Style as the main highlight and topped with sugarcrafted roses and jasmines... Joseph A. Lambeth was a master in cake decorating as well as cake making in America in 1960's.. A lot of his work is a great inspiration..

Swarovski wanted the cake to be embellished with some of their crystals as well and since cake dummies had to be used, it was not a hindrance at all. The crystals looked pretty and the cakes were designed keeping the crystals in mind.

The other two cakes will follow shortly...

And how you have made up for lost blogging time, Swati. It's exquisite.

A question: how is the Lambeth Method different from the Australian, or is one a derivative of the other?
