Choco Floral Ecstasy

Once again a chocolate cake to satiate the taste buds...
The chocolate cake has been adorned with orchids and anemone flowers.
The "kairi/ambi" shape (comma, paisley for my English viewers) has always been an obsession.. I often use it for Alpanas..( making patterns with rice flour paste on auspicious occasions) and embroideries... Well, how long could this childhood obsession stay away from my cake making..
The chocolate ganache, edible pearls and lustre dust used on the flowers qualify this post for Susan's event and Sugar High Fridays, the crazy-popular and long-running event created by Jennifer.

Do visit their sites.. you will love it!!

Love the shape!
Also, I love the piping of the little "commas" in white - they look like they're made of tiny pearls.
Beautiful

Swati, you really have no idea how I am enamored of paisley, not the funky psychedelic '60s stuff, but the ancient patterns all hushed and burnished.

This cake is extraordinary. Thank you so very much for creating it for SHF!
